Yourtravelbuddy charges service fees for the professional travel booking assistance and customer support we provide. These fees cover the cost of searching, comparing, and booking travel options on your behalf, as well as ongoing support throughout your travel journey. All service fees are disclosed to you before you complete your booking, ensuring complete transparency.
Service fees are charged in addition to the base fare, government taxes, and carrier surcharges set by airlines and other travel suppliers. Our fees are applied on a per-passenger basis and may vary depending on the type of booking, the complexity of the itinerary, and the channel through which the booking is made.

Online Air Transaction Fees
For standard domestic and international flight bookings made through our website, a service fee of up to $50.00 per passenger applies. This fee covers the use of our fare search and comparison technology, secure booking processing, e-ticket issuance, and confirmation delivery. The exact fee amount may vary based on the fare class, route complexity, and time of booking.
Phone Booking Fees
When you choose to book through one of our travel specialists by calling (800) 437-8197, a service fee applies to cover the personalized assistance provided by our agents. Phone bookings include real-time fare search, expert guidance on routing and cabin class options, and live seat selection assistance. Our phone agents can often find savings and options that may not be apparent through online search alone.
Complex Itinerary Fees
Bookings that involve multi-city routing, open-jaw itineraries, multiple airlines, or other non-standard configurations may incur a higher service fee due to the additional research, coordination, and booking complexity involved. Complex itinerary fees reflect the extra time and expertise required to construct and validate these types of bookings.
Group Booking Fees
For group travel involving 10 or more passengers, service fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. Group bookings require specialized handling, including coordination with airlines for group fare availability, seat assignments, and special requests. Post-Ticketing Change Fees
If you need to make changes to your booking after your ticket has been issued, a post-ticketing service fee applies. This fee covers the work involved in modifying your reservation, coordinating with the airline, and reissuing your ticket. Cancellation Processing Fees
If you choose to cancel your booking, a cancellation processing fee may apply. This fee covers the administrative work involved in processing your cancellation request, coordinating with the airline for any eligible refund, and handling the refund back to your payment method. Cancellation processing fees are separate from any cancellation penalties imposed by the airline.
